The Master Photographers Association
The MPA is a UK-based organization of qualified and professional photographers. It was established in 1952 to provide working photographers benefits that they can enjoy and worthwhile activities they can participate in. These include education, qualifications, regional meetings, national seminars, business promotions and marketing support. Though membership to the MPA is open to anyone who declares income from professional photography, there are strict rules and requirements. Those who qualify must at least have a Licentiate certification. And those who wish to be listed in the MPA online directory can only do so after undergoing a stringent assessment of their work. MPA members get to enjoy nearly 50 benefits and privileges including the chance to join the Master Photography Awards and win the prestigious International Master Photographer of the Year.
